I find myself conflicted today, on the one hand I can understand and agree with all of the things that Mr Corben wants to do, but putting on my investment advisers hat I dread the adverse impact that paying for them will have on companies in the UK which will impact on the value of pensions, ISAs, and all of the other types of investments that are equity based. The other area which should be of concern to all of us who are self employed either as sole traders or via a limited company are the tax proposals that Mr McDonald proposes which will have a direct impact on us. Market movements of the week

SHANGHAI down 0.21%
CAC 40 down 0.78%
DAX down 0.59% ffffffff
