I started to write this week’s musings last evening in the hope that I would be able to clarify a number of things that may be going to impact all of us in the coming week. Having watched, read, and listened to pundits and commentators from around the world I decided that whatever I forecast as an outcome would turn out to be wrong. We are once again on the edge as far as Brexit is concerned, we still have an American nearly Ex-President who does not admit he lost and are seeing the Covid 19 vaccine becoming a political football.
“Aargh” he screamed.
As I have said for many years the trick to a successful investment strategy is to have a well-diversified portfolio. Diversification means that our portfolios have weathered the storm of the last nine months and are set to cope with the vagaries of the next few. I am hoping that by the time the New Year comes things will be settled enough for me to put in place some exciting new strategies, including offering ESG portfolios.
